A young woman, giving up on life, dives into deep waters to end it all. However, she is saved by a creature that gives her a new mission in life.

This is my first story, so forgive me if it’s not really good. If you don’t want to forgive me for that, forgive the misspellings. My word check is broken. if no one likes this story, I swera I’ll make a vore story to make up for it. (I’m much better at violence anyways)

She watched the open waters stretch out before her. The sun was just setting in the horizing, bright shades of red and orange and yellow being chased away by the dark hue that became the night. The waters relected the light and to her it looked like a portal to another world.

‘I wish I could go through it.’ She thought.

Her name was Kesse Grover. She was currently 18 years old with a too thin of frame to be healthy, and a sad expression that was too deep for one to have. Her bright brown hair was braided back and the end rested on the small of her back. Her deep green eyes started to form tears as she thought back on her life. Her winkled blue dress blew gently in the wind as she thought.

Ever since she was born, she had nothing but bad luck and saddness. Her father and mother (if one could call them that) abused her horrably.

Her father had been an extream drunk who would hit her and her mother just about every day. Never in the face though, too many people would see. No, it was on their asses and upper legs and lower back, places where no one would see them.

When she turned 12, and her body started to form into a woman, that’s when her father stopped hitting her so much and started creeping into her room at night to rape her.

At 16, someone finally came to her rescue.

She had started to go see a guidence counsler at her school about her problems and she was talked into tallking to the police. They acted two days later, finding ‘Daddy’ in the basement with his beaten and tied up daughter.

but even though she was taken out of that place, she still had many problems.

Her body didn’t fuction well from all the beatings. Her arms were too weak to do any work, and it was hard to even walk for a short period of time. She trained herself to be stronger, but she couldn’t find any work when she turned 18.

Her mind would never let her forget what her family did to her. She would have flashes of her father and mother beating her and scream in horror. Sometimes it happened at her home, but it mostly happened while she was in a public place. When she was 17, she tried a mental instiution, but that only made it worse. She’s seeing a shrink now, but the sessions weren’t helping one bit.

Now, at the age of 18, she had nothing going for her. The only income she had was her disiblity checks, and they didn’t help her much, she had no friends, she had no friends and no lovers, for her parents made her unable to trust others. The roomate who lived with her was moving out, saying she coudnt’ stand Kesse’s screaming anymore, leaving Kesse alone. And if that wasn’t enough, she’s being forced to live with her uncle, a man that didn’t want anything to do with her, but has offered her a job she can’t really do.

She sighed and looked at the water. She had thought about ending it all, but never had the courage to do so. Until now.

SHe looked around to make sure no one was close enough to save her, and she climbed over the railing and looked at the water.

‘Maybe if i’m lucky, I’ll get pushed into the motor blades and die quicker.’ She thought.

She gave one last breath, enjoying the air, then diving into the water to never breathe it again.

She missed the blades as the boat moved past her. But she didn’t mind. She never learned how to float and she sunk to a point where no one would be able to see her if they looked overboard. She ignored her lungs that was hurting for air, and she started to feel herself drifting away as she closed her eyes.

What happened next took her by surprised.

She felt something being pushed into her mouth. At first her hazy mind thought it was a fish. But it was placed on her tounge and it tasted sweet in her mouth. Just for the hell of it, she swallowed the thing.

Suddenly, air flowed into her lungs, causing her to open her eyes and look around. IT was too dark in the water to see much of anything, but she saw enough to know there was something in front of her.

She gasped and was surprised to find herself able to breathe under the water. She couldn’t talk, but she was too scared to anyways.

She saw somethign float over to her and felt something caress her cheek. she gasped again but didn’t move away. The caress was comforting to her for some reason.

‘what is that thing?’ She thought. she remembered seeing a sex movie with monsters goign after young girls and she hoped like Hell this wasn’t one of them.

Another thing came up to her other cheek and caressed it. But now she was thinking hard that this thing was going to hurt her.

To her surpired, the ‘things’ pulled back.

‘I won’t hurt you.’ she heard a voice say in her head. ‘I swear I won’t.’

‘What are you?’ She thought to the creature.

The creature was silent for a moment. ‘I…cannot answer that right now. Your kind is not ready to know about us, as of yet.’

‘Will you kill me?’ She asked. She didn’t know at the time if she was begging or just asking for this.

The creature was silent for a moment. ‘i do not know as of yet. However, I do wish to know more about humans. Do you mind if I read your mind?’

Kesse whimpered mentaly. She didn’t like the idea that she didn’t know if she was going to live or die yet. Sure, she wanted to die, but would this creature kill her fast or slowly? pain or no pain?

The creature must had read her thoughts for it said: ‘If I have to kill you, I will do it fast and painless. May I read your mind?’

Kesse nodded. ‘Yes…but….I dont’ exactly have any happy thoughts.’

the creature’s…Kesse gave up and called them tenticles since they look like them…touched either side of her head.

Kesse blinked and her whole life flashed before her eyes. Her birth, her childhood, the way her father had hurt her, the way her mother refused to protect her, the raping, the pain…

‘STOP!’ She screamed.

The creature reeled back as if in pain. ‘What horrable memories! Do all humans treat each other as such.’

Kesse was crying to hard to even think of an answer. She didn’t want her last thoughts be about those things, but the creature forced them back into her mind. She wanted to die, to be rid of these memories. it was because of her parents that she had such a horrable life. Even after she escaped from them, she still carried the aftermath of it all.

‘Forgive me.’ The creature said.

When Kesse said nothign, she felt the tenticles pull her to the creature. She froze, thinking this creature was finally going to kill her. But she was pressed up against something warm in the cold water, that comforted her. It felt like short fur was touching her bare skin, and she felt little tenticles rubbing her arms.

‘I’m sorry.’ The creature said again. Kesse felt what felt like two furry human arms wrap around her. ‘I did not mean to upset you.’

Kesse shook her head. ‘I…I just hate them…I hate my parents. Humans don’t always treat each other as such, but…damn it…every day my parents had hurt me in ways that made me give up on life. And even after i got away from them, I still had to deal with the after math.’

‘What kind of aftermath?’ The creature asked.

‘Since then my body hasn’t fuctioned right.’ Kesse said. ‘my limbs are in constant pain. They won’t move too well. I’m not useful to anyone. plus, I can never get myself to trust someone. II’m scared that i would be hurt again.’

Kesse blinked. Why was she telling this thing all of this? It didnt’ care about her. It wanted to study humans, and right now she was probably giving him the wrong idea about humans.

‘you’re not.’ the creature told her. ‘there were those who helpped you. I see that not all humans are harmful.’

Kesse nodded. it was right. but she hadn’t found anyone that she could trust.

‘do you really want to give up so badly?’ The creature asked. ‘if you are done with the surface, stay down here with me.’

Kesse blinked. ‘what…what do you mean?’

‘stay with me.’ The creature siad. ‘My kind will never hurt you. you can find those you trust. you will live and be happy if you stay down here.’

Kesse thought long and hard about this. ‘I can’t swim. and my limbs are in too much pain to learn.’

The creature was slilent for a moment. then she saw something glowing. It looked like a pearl the creature was holding.

‘The males of our kind can make pearls that can be used to heal or make land creatures able to breathe underwater.’ the creature told her. ‘take this, and you will be healed.’

Kesse looked at the pearl for a moment longer. She had nothing going on for her on the surface. In fact, if she died, no one owuld moarn. Maybe she’ll be accepted with these creatures.

she ate the pearl and swallowed it.

Instantly, she felt a warmth run through her body. The pain washed away so fast it scared her. She felt her body become stronger, and it was painless.

Before she could thank the creature, a new feeling suddenly crept up.

She felt a strange heat move in her body. It started in her stomach and moved to between her legs. The heat grew and it started to tingle slightly. ‘It wears off in about…5 hours.’ The creature siad. ‘For our kind at least.’

Kesse moaned. ‘Is there anyway of making it go faster?’

The creature sounded embarassed when he spoke. “Well…umm…you see…’

“Just tell me!” Kesse said, feeling distrest. She owudl do anything to get the feeling to stop. It was spreading over her legs and into her stomach. it was now starting to tingle in her breasts.

‘Another way…is to stimulate it for 2 hours.’ The creature said.

‘Stimulate…how?’ Kesse asked. Now she begain to panic. “you mean…have sex?”

“If taht’s what you humans call it.’ the creature said.

‘Yes.’ the creature said. ‘apparently she was ready to leave the surface anyways. such a horrable life.’

the other chuckled. ‘Foolish humans. So tell me….can she survive?’

The creature nodded. ‘yes…she can survive. it took her over a day to finally run out of energy. I say lets see how long it takes for her to regain her energy before seeing how we should plan the seed implants.’

“wise.” the other said. ‘finally, with the other females here, we can finally repopulate in the ocean and soon take back the land that humans had taken from us!”

As the creatures laughed, Kesse slept on. She had no idea she was going to be used for the destruction of her race. She slept on peacefuly, dreaming of finally finding home.
