cheating? by warlady21

Hey, I got a problem.

I’ve been doing Fantasy Stories with this guy (Who is three years younger than me) for several years now. We belonged to several threads where we post our stories. but then we went off and just did our own for years. Ending one and starting another entirely. it’s how we talk. we RP (As people would call it) and talk. We never really called each other the names we used, we didn’t see each other as anymore than friends.

well. recently we started to do more in our stories. Making them more adult. even talking about sex. HOWEVER we did not cyber sex. Not once. However, our stories were getting way too mature.

Well his Girlfriend, whom he loves so much he’s willing to take the plunge with her, found out about our stories. especially about the mature content. she didn’t want to talk to him for days, and they’re supposed to talk about it tonight. but my friend is saying that he basically cheated on her.

I don’t think he cheated on her. I don’t think we did anything that would be considered Cheating, even if our stories were mature. However, he is thinking of ending our friendship because he still feels so strongly about it.

so let me ask you. Was what we did be considered as cheating? there were no feelings behind what we wrote other than the need to get the story going. We didn’t wish we were our characters. and I never ever talked to him about leaving his GF.

I just want a second opinion. Did he cheat on her? did he not cheat?

he’s heavy with his religion, so I can see part of the problem.

however, today, we ended our friendship. he sees it as “temptation.”

so now, whatever I feel is moot at this point. :’(
