NY has accepted gays
One of the big news going in my circle of blogs is that NY recently passed a law to allow gay marriages. This will, of course, annoy a lot of people, but I think it is a good thing. I’m proud that bigots haven’t gotten Iowa to repeal the supreme court, but there is still a systematic attack against the remaining supreme court judges who made the ruling. Almost every time there is a political commercial on the radio, it is against those people.

I recently saw a little thing online talking about gay marriage and allowing first cousins to marry:

Obviously, I have personal opinions of why I want gay marriage to be legalized, but it still comes down to letting people love who they want.

Oh, I am in favor of incest (which I consider to be any close family member, such as first and second cousins), as long as you don’t produce children. I’ll admit, I’ve had a few naughty thoughts about my brother on occasion. But, we’ve already said fantasies aren’t wrong.

http://www.patheos.com/community/slackt … -it-there/Slacktivist is a very well written article about this recent passing. And a bit of history, which I haven’t confirmed.
Had to post a picture.
Part of me wonders sometimes, Tsade. You’ll find I’m very much both a social and fiscal conservative on most issues, but I often wonder with regard to things like the legality of drugs, and certain sexual standards if the right doth protest too much…
Not sure how to parse that, actually. You saying that I’m hypersexual here because I’m not in “real life”. Or that I’m defending things that I already do?
[quote:16agx287]I’m actually quite ambivolent about sexuality of my neighbours. What leaves a very bad taste in my mouth is the militant nature of many activists. They very often seem intent on destroying the culture rather than working their way into it. [/quote:16agx287]
I agree. I don’t like militant activists. I don’t like anyone, from any side, who aggressively pushes their claim. That goes for the lesbians who think all men are slime and the straights who think gay men should be castrated and publicly crucified. Sadly, the latter is someone I’m related to.
