Novel - Shon Richards - Seven Magnificent Sluts

Shon Richards has created a wonderful novel that blends in humor, lots of raunchy sex, and a homage to some of the great westerns I enjoyed as a little thing. The Seven Magnificent Sluts is about the gathering of heroic women to fight against the hordes of lesbian vampires. There are bit parts from some of Mr. Richard’s other characters, all of which are absolutely true to their heritage, including their sexual styles and methods for luring the main character into bed.

There is something about Mr. Richard’s writing. It isn’t a stroke story, though the sex is wonderfully fantastic. Instead, it is a character piece filled with women who were larger than life, not ashamed of who they are, and willing to ride hard as much as they fight for their lives.

My only complaint is that the details were missing some of the dramatic parts. The deaths, though emotional, were glossed over. This fits with Mr. Richard’s style of writing, but I still they would get a bit more “screen time” as it were before expiring.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read about strong women, sex-positive attitudes, and a fast-moving story that will keep you reading to the end.
