Girl Scouts of America and transgendered girls

Girl Scouts of America is one of those organizations that has greatly influenced Fluffy and my lives. I think they are a wonderful organization, unlike the Boy Scouts of America who I find to be rather exclusive. Where Boy Scouts denied gays, the Girl Scouts allowed them. In the above links, they also apparently decided that transgendered girls (boys who live as girls) would be allowed.

Naturally, some of the girl scout leaders decided that they were offended by Girl Scouts decision and made a very public defection to American Heritage Girls, which is a more God-oriented organization (not unlike the Boy Scouts).

I hate that the LGBT divides people like this. I thought the point of Girl Scouts, among other things, is to teach tolerance. To better society and themselves. What does it teach girls if you make that public outcry because Girl Scouts was tolerant?

I seem to recall that a Girl Scout-inspired organization was in a certain game of ours…. That wasn’t entirely accidental. Though, no scout eating, didn’t think about that.
