Alien verses Predator Requiem

In a moment of weakness, and fondness for predators and aliens, I picked up the Alien verses Predator Unrated pack at Best Buy (while getting a new keyboard of all things). Now, I’ve see the first one and enjoyed it, but everyone said the second one was terrible. Yeah, it wasn’t the greatest of movies, but there was one thing that really stood out.

There was an absolutely lovely scene where the predator/alien glomps on to the face of a woman and starts to shove eggs down her throat. I mean, just that frantic gulping noises and seeing the eggs sliding down got a little thrill rolling down my spine (and, um, other places). I know it was just a tiny little scene, but just the sight and sound of it got me going.

Of course, it was tempered by the fact said alien only did this to woman (maybe only pregnant ones) and for some reason, it pretty much implied that somehow a woman’s throat was connected to her womb, but I don’t expect basic biology out of my movie director. What I do expect it a bit of a thrill and I got it.
