Fascination with Mother/Daughter Incest

There are a lot of Mother/Daughter porn videos out there. The most prominent of which is the Mother-Daughter Exchange Club produced by Girlfriend Films. Filly Films produces the far more blatantly incestuous Seduced by Mommy series. Howard Stern once featured kissing sisters who did lesbian porn with their step mother. It remains one of his most popular shows ever. That theme, of course, extends to Dolcett. Interestingly enough, Splyff’s Trine and Christine series which always feature best girlfriends Trine and Christine getting snuffed with their respective mothers never quite goes there, but implies it a lot.

So why is it so many are fascinated with Mother-Daughter incest?

I posted this topic on DGF and got an interesting response from Ur_Lord:

[quote:2f1u5t6g]GFF’s MDEC series is pretty careful to always indicate that the relationship isn’t one of blood, but rather marriage. There’s still the incest vibe, but it isn’t as in your face as it could be. Filly Films, on the other hand, has blurred the line a LOT with its “Seduced by Mommy” series, which happens to be Filly’s best seller even though many of the volumes have been pretty crappy. I’ve reviewed a number of MDEC videos on my review blog http://holesreviews.blogspot.com.

The idea of mother daughter incest is one that has several levels; incest being the primary taboo, but you also have the lesbian aspect, plus the older-younger (i.e. younger-but-legal) vibe. It’s no wonder that these types of videos and stories are so popular. Dolcett explored the incest theme in a number of stories, including, the mother-daughter aspect (see “Heads or Tails”). One taboo is arousing, but if you can put four together (incest, lesbianism, age difference, cannibalism) in one story you have a sort of erotic tsunami.[/quote:2f1u5t6g]

Mother-Daughter themes figure prominently in my own stories. As I explore those, I seek out whatever insight I can find and thank those that share it…

My response to Ur_Lord:[quote:2f1u5t6g]I was unaware of Filly Films. I will have to look into that.

What strikes me is that the older I get, the more I see women being horrifically cruel to each other, especially sisters. Why is that? In the work place, women get jealous and catty with each other. They plot, betray, and undercut one another in ways men almost never do, and seem to do this naturally.

One prominent radio psych type said that you put three men in a room and you end up with a basketball team, you put three women in a room and two will gang up on the third.

When I add that to the fantasy, it seems to make the idea of a mother/daughter or sister/sister relationship to be rare and/or impossible.

But what if this is counter-intuitive?

What if that cruelty is a function of a deeper desire?

I’m asking about this for this reason: In my stories, the families have large groups of daughters. Five, six, seven or eight living under the same roof. Samantha, my favourite character, is in love with her mother, and is vaguely aware of it but has not come to grips with it. She is the youngest of the first litter (three girls) in a family with two boys and eight girls. She is at odds with Jenna, the middle in the litter, and Gracie, the eldest of that litter keeps them from killing each other. Even so, I’ve portrayed it as most of the animosity coming from Jenna. Samantha’s portion, I tell in the first person, so her perspective on the issue might be a bit skewed… you get to seem Samantha in reality from the outside looking in when following the other characters who know her. http://www.asstr.org/files/Authors/LuisCypher/

I have something similar going with Martha and Tina Cokely in “As With Most Days”. Though, I think this story I managed to get it closer to what would be accurate. I tried to go there with Tina’s jaded torture of her sister over a boy in front of her parents… not sure I succeeded.

The thing is, I believe that the Mother/Daughter thing is an undercurrent that is often present. I can’t prove it, but I believe it’s there.[/quote:2f1u5t6g]
