There’s been some excitement recently in the community about child pornography, something that disgusts me immensely.

First, NO active character in a story here is underage. That is by my intention. As I said, the subject is abhorrent to me, and I consider child porn an abuse of the defenseless.

Second, I frequently use the words “girl” and “woman” interchangeably. That is an old habit, and a common one in our culture. See “The Golden Girls”, which is certainly not about underage women. The word “girl” does not imply the person discussed is under eighteen. Period. I frequently take pains to say my characters are legal adults.

Finally, like everyone else that creates in our community, I occasionally get requests to do underage stuff, or stories involving gratuitous pain and gore. No underage stories. Also, I don’t glory in pain, or enjoy it. I’ve seen enough in my life. If you like it, go somewhere else. Now.

To all of the fans of my stories, I’m sorry this had to be said, but events made it needful.
