The sarcasm is hilarious in this one. Yeah, it isn't very nice, but it really points out the hatred some people have with the idea of there being a 'gay gene'. And from this article, I suspect that people feel it is the Christian-funded sources that are trying to find it.

Love is accepting something for its flaws as well as its virtues. I feel the same about religion, which is why I question it. I know I love my choice of religions because I can laugh at it and still feel I'm part of it.

I'm not even sure I'd consder myself Christian anymore, but I still find it stupid.  I recognize that they're trying to be funny and turn something on it's head that's also absurd, but I still don't find it funny, in part because I don't find the crap about the so-called "gay gene" funny either.

The gay gene crap is that, crap. I refuse to believe there is a single genetic marker of any type that indicates sexual preference. It won't stop people from trying to find it, if anything to "cure" it. I hate that sexual preferences is something curable and consider it about as curable as religion.
