Darwinism vs. creationism
« on: January 24, 2008, 11:37:09 AM »

In your opinion, what do you believe? Do you believe in evolution or God's creations?

Don't ask me for my opinion, I've been known to start a few wars with it.

Evolution, actually. Properly, things take millions and billions of year to get right. :)

Both, in a way, but mostly evolution.

Well. I somehow believe that the universe as such is maybe a creation of some "godly" being.
So, essentially I believe that matter, gravity, space, time and the laws governing it, are "created".

Everything else then just happened governed by these laws.

So, homo sapiens is a product of evolution.

(And if some things had been just a little bit different, there'd have been catgirls, too).  ;D

I believe that evolution has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, and there is absolutely not a shred of evidence to support the bible beyond blind faith.

However, Darwin's theory of natural selection , is absurd!
How evolution occurrs is still an unknown, and the answer lies with  Lemarck - but much more complex. There is no way we arrrived at this world by random mutation -

...and you know what that means. ;D

This is where I piss people off.

My theroy is that Humanity is made up of the evolution of several species, not just one. It woudl explain why we are able to swim like most animals, climb trees like most animals, why we are omnivores, and why we are stragetic.

Combind that with a power someone used to help these creatures mate, and you got yourself a theroy that supports all theroies.

Okay, after reading this I decided to test it out!
First, I almost broke my neck falling out of a tree, then I nearly drowned.

No wonder you piss people off!  >:(  ;)

Seriously, you have an interesting theory. Maybe evolution began with two independent strands of DNA, not one, and then combined?

The question is...with what help....and how??

It was them same space aliens that me an Dub excaped from that night when they tried ta get there tractor beam on us. It was jus plain lucky that we'd bin drinkin Evan, so we could see em wen they tried ta git us. Good ol Dub drove the Jeep inta the watter when he seed em an they oney got the front enda the jeep an it set there wif its headlights shinin up inta outer space. That watter was close ta freezin an it was jus good luck that we done had enuf Evan ta keep us warm while the headlights scared off the mother ship. It sure were perty, them lights shinin up thro the mist comin offa the watter, an the stars shinin so bright up there. We coulda stayed there long after the mother ship left, ifn we wanted to. But we dint want to. No.
