The permissions on the boards are set that if you are not logged in, you cannot see the images and other attachments. To see them, create an account or log in.

Right now, the gallery is set to not show unapproved images. This means after you add them, you can't see them until I, or someone who resembles me, marks them as approved. I might have other administrators at some point, but if they don't show up in a few days, just give me a gentle nudge to look at them.

Hrm, I want to be clear about a little thing though. Unlike stories, I'm not going to give random images the same protection. At least those not created by a specific person. That means that I will not delete images created by someone here, but the random images I put up, I'll take down if I run out of bandwidth and/or disk space. That is a matter of economics plus I've seen a few boards (4chan and 7chan come to mind) that have basically destroy their owner's lives with the high bandwidth and costs.

Just to clarify, if you want to comment on a picture use "Add Comment" not "Report Picture." Report Picture is used when it violates some rule, law, or copyright I didn't know about.

A thought... some of us have a little trouble with images when we're logged in.. as in, I try very hard to avoid them unless I'm being very, very careful (my fave is the one of shaved/unshaved, that one I'd hang on my wall!)

But anyway, is there any way to make sure Images are flagged in some way on a post so that, if they are posted, I can see that they are before I click on a link?

If you don't mind changing the look of the forum. Go into your account settings, then Look and Layout. Change your theme to "SMF Default Theme - Curve". That has a second column with a clip for boards that have attachments (e.g., images).
