This applies to both the chatroom and this forum.

For stories posted on this forum, the minimum age is sixteen for any human having sex, being involved with sex, or even just watching it. This is not exactly a hard limit, since the individual characters do not have to have an age check; but if you don't give the age, make it at least plausible that they are at least sexually mature. Of course, since we have fantasy stories, there are other races, physical types, and situations where the character may appear younger (see the Exalted RPG for example) but aren't. In those cases, use your best judgement.

In the chat rooms, the minimum age is eighteen for the public persona. You may play a character of any age, but it needs to be in a private chatroom or via PM instead of the public channels.

Is there a reason for posting it now? I mean, did you get into any trouble because someone acted against these rules?

It came up in conversation and I've been meaning to post it for a while. Or to get feedback on opinions. Plus, there used to be a rule about that with the old forum, but I never recovered it.

t'Sade: I think you are wise to do this because it is always better to be proactive on a Forum like this in protecting yourself against the type of legal problem that ensnared MKR on DGF. This, like DGF, is the type of web site that attracts the attention of law enforcement types wanting to get some publicity-when they aren't salivating over the stories and photos. Best wishes.  lens
