I'm a tad concern with the laws and things showing up (mainly with the new regulations toward pornorgraphic or sado/macho images). I'm just giving a heads-up about it, since I may have to start giving more rules about posting images based on reality (not cartoons). I may also take down the image sections if I can't figure out what to do by the 23rd of June. And, since I don't have a lawyer to talk about these things, I may go the conserative approach.

First I want to thank you for allowing me to post my work here TSade.  I was great to link it to DGF for fun too.  But with 2257 I shut down my group, Chup's ISP made him remove my work and others at his site, and I deleted my work here.  I didn't want to get anyone else in trouble let alone myself.  Our freedoms are eroding and letting your fantasy out is gone.  Glad they are protecting me.  I hope some you now can't let their fantasy out, won't hurt someone.  Thanks again, I hope I can show my work again in a more open society.

I still haven't found anything I liked and I'm not about to break any laws. Since I can't control the images at this point (nor do I want to), plus I was in the middle of trying to figure out how to convert the site over anways, I'm going to temporarily shut down the image module (galleries) until I write up a good set of rules (and probably migrate the site).

I'm considering going with another simple theme, easy to read and not a lot of graphics as before. Does this still appeal to people?

Opinions wouldn't hurt.

Oh, I refuse to let that law stop me. I just need to some time to come up with a set of guidelines of how to create an image that conforms. My ISP is pretty open to these things and I'm going to follow the letter of the law, along with my justifications.

At the base, I'm just going to recommend you put in the 2257 link on the image, that way it follows. Since you take pre-created stuff, I think it just requires a little change and then more naked people in cooking situations can show up.

I'm not going to bend over a take it blindly. So, please be patient and things will return. And I hope you continue making them; we can all adapt.

Oh I still make them, for my pleasure and a small group of friends.  Just no site, since I can't show documentation of the models I use as a secondary producer.  It's good you have a good ISP, Chup isn't so lucky, he had to dump most of his featured artists, including me.  But I understand it fully.  Cheers.

t'Sade, this is my first post on this site, so first, thanks for creating it

I've noticed that sites, like Storywrite.com and bdsm library are a lot more liberal about what can be written about and I suspect the reason why is this: they don't allow photographs or images of any kind... (well, bdsm allows banner ads for their advertizers).

My question to you is this: if any of us write fiction that cannot (for whatever reason) be posted her, will you allow an offsite link to it?

I don't mind linking, I've done it myself. I do request that if it violates the TOS of this site (e.g., people under 16), you warn people. I don't allow it (for the most part, I do violate the rules myself), because I'm the one who will get hung if things go wrong. Call it a comfort factor, but I had to dial back until I was comfortable.

If you do cross-post, I do ask that you put in a summary of the story and the ASSTR code. You know, make it obviously a cross-post instead of a just-line advertising or link.

And remember, since you are going to be the first, if you abuse it, you screw it up for everyone else. So, don't abuse it.
