Mamabliss (Art)
« on: January 08, 2010, 07:38:14 PM »

http://mamabliss.com/

There is something about Mamabliss that I adore. They (male or female, don't care) have almost the same interests as my own when it comes to the sheer breadth of interests. They write giantess, vore, cann, tentacles, and everything in between. MB is much fluffier than my own, there aren't as many dark stories as on my own site, but still there is such wonderful little stories in there.

Mamabliss also has a nice sketch style of writing. One reason I was so honored they were willing to illustrate The Mummy's Girl. And, that cover is absolutely fantastic.

Probably another wonderful thing is that many of the non-commercial sites are actually completely free archives. Much like my own love of giving away stuff, I found Mamabliss very open to seeing their artwork just about everyone; occasionally one pops up on a chan. Also, they are trying to make a bit of money off this, and honestly, I really hope they succeed.

I find the drawing style irresistable, but the accompanying lettering a trifle too "free". It's nearly unreadable.

Of course, allowance must be made for the fact that I'm a retired graphic designer and calligrapher.

And no, I will NOT write out War and Peace for you on a 3×5 card.

I'm a wannabe graphic designer and Fluffy is supposedly a professional one. Though, I like typesetting and layout a bit more than proper graphic design.

Mamabliss's earlier stuff is a lot more readable. I think a good handwriting font could do them a lot of good, but I'm not going to complain. :)

I am not into the vore or furry stuff, but I love the art style and imagination shown in their cann stories. Nikki's All-Night Diner is fucking awesome.

Mamabliss was kind enough to allow me to use their Special Pictorial story as basis for my story and, with their permission, I have others I will be writing based on their works.

I have to agree that the writing is almost unintelligible at times, but I find that a small inconvenience to deal with to get such wonderful stories.

It must have been a choice... the font reflects on the rest of the drawings. Can't have really wild and unruly artwork without a wild and unruly lettering...

And Wojna i Mir?

Hmmm... you didn't do the lettering for any of the comics (hoohah: "graphic novels") I have in my collection?

Nor Война и мир.

Nope ... never did any lettering for stuff like that, which actually might have been fun. I used to know the guy (dead now) who lettered all the "Ripley's Believe It or Not" panels.

The Zodiac killer?

His work included lettering too...

Would explain your frequenting this place of the obsessed - and if still alive he should be about your age. He also had a fondness of guns and the great outdoors... This is adding a whole new dimension to my picture of you. You're a celeb!

Thanks, RL.  I think I have all of their cann stories, but I would like to see if there are some I do not have.
