After the Rapture

In many ways, this is a very silly idea. A bunch (probably a small bunch) of atheists decided to create a service for those worried about the rapture. If it happens, they'll take care of the raptured people's pets. Because pets don't go to heaven, I guess.

This is very sad also. One, because people are worried that the Rapture will come any day but also because they'll give money to someone who, by all accounts, looks like to be a scam. I mean, paying money ahead for the eventuality of the Rapture?

I think I'll stick with Camille West's Rapture 2000 song personally.

Why would it be a scam?

Could be interpreted as a test of how serious people are in their beliefs...

Or as an atheist attempt to show them they aren't that serious in them at all.

they don't believe in god. Why would they do something to poke at people who do believe and not make a tidy sum? ;)

That is fucking hilarious.  I think all atheists are fucking morons, but these "proven atheists" (and how the hell can you prove something like that?) might actually be moronic geniuses.  Pretty fucking scary when you think about it.   Funny, but scary too.    Brrrrrrr

I think I once saw the Anti-Christ in a Perry Boy's Smorgy outside Yuba City. Since then I've taken it a little more seriously - why take chances.  :o :o
